About the Job:

Interior Health is seeking a skilled Digital Adoption Lead to support the adoption of electronic health records and related technologies across the organization. This role will play a vital part in driving the successful implementation and uptake of new technologies and related processes within Interior Health. The lead will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to lead, make change management and communication decisions ensuring readiness related to the implementation of systems and other technology as needed. The lead will be responsible for creating and executing software and system adoption strategies, consulting and engaging Business Partners (internal and external), and ensuring smooth transitions to new technologies in collaboration with Clinical Informatics Teams and Leaders. In addition, the lead will be required to travel to various IH sites to facilitate and support different project activities; duration of travel will vary depending on scope of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and instruction in the development and implementation of comprehensive software and system adoption assessments and plans for new technologies and related processes, considering Business Partner (internal and external) needs and organizational objectives.

• Provides consultation to, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.

• Participates in the design, delivery, and assists manager with developing budgets for training programs, workshops, and resources to facilitate smooth adoption of technology.

• Leads and participates in committee meetings with multi Business Partner (internal) groups to optimize and sustain electronic healthcare system standardization and functional changes.

• Provides leadership, guidance, consultation and education to staff using effective leadership and communication skills. Leads and makes recommendations to other internal and external partners. Acts as a liaison between internal and external partners on systems and software adoption.

• Collaborates with IH Communications team on any outgoing organization wide communication and communication to external partners.

• Collaborates with IH Change Management team on standards, processes and industry trends in the area of effective systems and software adoption.

• Creates and implements change management plans and communication plans to promote IH-wide awareness and understanding of technology changes among Business Partners (internal and external).

• Measures and monitors technology adoption progress, gathers feedback, and recommends necessary adjustments to optimize adoption rates.

• Acts as a liaison between end-users, technical teams, and leadership, addressing technology adoption concerns and ensuring alignment.

• Develops metrics and Key Performance Indicator's to measure the success and impact of technology adoption efforts.

• Provides support to Digital Health, Clinical Informatics managers by leading the manager's team(s) through change management workstreams within a structure methodology as required.

• Stays up to date on industry trends and best practices in technology adoption methodologies.

• Participates in the on-call rotation for Clinical Information Systems.

• Performs other related duties as required.
