Global Medical Affairs Specialist, Cardiorenal Expert

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to act as the primary point of contact between Bayer and Thought Leaders (TLs) in the cardiorenal therapeutic area. As a Global Medical Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Exchanging and disseminating scientific, educational, and research-related information with TLs via various innovative formats to clarify and educate on scientific data, study protocols, conference abstracts, publications, and clinical guidelines.
- Identifying, profiling, segmenting, and engaging TLs to execute medical strategy by translating local medical plans into implementable TL engagement plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Generating insights from TLs on current clinical practices, beliefs, and unmet medical needs, documenting, and communicating them to inform agile planning cycles.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest scientific research on the cardiorenal therapeutic area and developing a strong understanding of Bayer's market strategies and healthcare landscape to anticipate stakeholder needs.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD) or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing medical affairs role or experience in drug information, clinical research, and development, or other clinical relevant activities.
- Strong learning and digital technology skills to develop communications, brand/TA campaigns, and analyze medical data to generate insights.
