About The Role:



This position is focused on delivering innovative technology solutions that accelerate revenue growth and reduce costs. As a member of the Guidepoint engineering team, you will be working on creating new products, improving existing platforms, and optimizing the delivery of our services.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design, build, and maintain a test automation framework to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Automate test cases and develop reusable and maintainable automated scripts to accelerate revenue growth and reduce costs.
  • Analyze issues related to automated and/or load testing, research, and propose solutions to optimize our services.
  • Provide regular software defect tracking and regression updates, and present technical reports as required.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and delivering training related to automated test tools and frameworks to enhance our services.
  • Review, establish, and maintain thorough documentation, templates, and process improvements to communicate technical issues to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other engineering team members and departments on technical issues and updates to deliver innovative technology solutions.
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and advancements within areas of specialization and incorporate improvements into our testing process to enhance our services.


Requirements:




  • 3+ years of experience in a QA Automation engineering role.
  • Strong experience in automated testing practices and tools, including Selenium or other similar tools and Web Service testing.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with a variety of testing techniques (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM).
  • Experience with performance/load testing.
  • Previous exposure to a ticketing system (Jira preferred).
  • Strong hands-on programming skills with JAVA programming language.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches.
  • Experienced with CI/CD/DevOps methodologies/tools and practical implementation of DevOps processes.
  • Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/information Technology/MIS).
