Security Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced security professional with exceptional leadership skills to join our team as a Security Supervisor.
- Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification
- Proven experience in a security supervisor role for at least 1 year
- Minimum of 2 years of security experience, preferably in a distribution center or commercial tower
The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. They will also be knowledgeable about various systems, including CCTV, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, and control room systems.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and leading a team of security guards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Scheduling and coordinating shifts to ensure adequate coverage at all times, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic at the distribution center gatehouse, verifying credentials, conducting vehicle searches, and ensuring compliance with security policies
- Maintaining accurate records of all security-related activities, including incident reports, vehicle logs, and visitor logs
- Conducting regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and reporting any breaches or concerns to management
- Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to any security incidents or emergencies promptly and appropriately
- Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination of security activities
- Providing training and guidance to security personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism
- Staying updated on security industry trends and best practices, implementing necessary changes to enhance security protocols
