Job Title: Cook
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at South China Sea Restaurant. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will also supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
Work Setting: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Hours: 40 hours per week
