Emergency Department Physician Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Physician Assistant to join our team at Lake of the Woods District Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 12-bed ED.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive emergency care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and outcomes
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant program or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an emergency department setting
- Knowledge of local specialist support services and community resources
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
What We Offer:
