Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at 1742196 ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Special Tasks: Clean changing rooms and showers, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
