Job Title: Receptionist (Tuesday to Saturday)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a fixed shift schedule from Tuesday to Saturday. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including cash sale transactions, banking and report reconciliation, and vendor payables.
  • Reconcile daily cash transactions and petty cash, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Investigate, resolve, and respond to customer, vendor, credit, and head office inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support all organization activities as part of the team, including participating in meetings and contributing to team projects.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with customer service, or 1 year of accounts payable or accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of basic accounts receivable/payable bookkeeping practices and terms.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work projects and multitask.
  • Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders.
