Electrical Engineer Job Description

Mueller Water Products is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and products, including hardware and firmware.
  • Test and validate electrical systems and products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical engineering solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve electrical engineering practices and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of hardware and embedded software development life cycles.
  • Knowledge of electronic and mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope).
  • Familiarity with electronic component parameters and reading datasheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of RF concepts, including transmitter and receiver architecture, RF principles, and antennas.
  • Familiarity with sensor technologies, creating schematics and bill of materials.
  • Able to investigate problems to the root cause and champion the creation and implementation of corrective actions.
