About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring nanny to join our team at Danielle Koppert. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the parents' methods
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking and scent-free environment
  • Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and time management skills
Work Environment

The nanny will work in a private home in an urban area, with a focus on providing high-quality care to our children. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Language

The primary language spoken in the home is English, and the nanny should be fluent in English to communicate effectively with the children and parents.Benefits

The nanny will work 30 hours per week, with a permanent position available. The ideal candidate will be able to participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
