We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Strickland's. This is a permanent full-time position, with an estimated 30-40 hours of work per week.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment. They will also be required to perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair, as well as water and tend to plants and lawns.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including hallways, floors, stairs, bathrooms, and fixtures
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, power sweepers, polishing machines, and snowblower
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, and adjusting heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Dependability, initiative, and reliability
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
This role involves working in all weather conditions, physically demanding tasks, and repetitive activities. The ideal candidate should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
