Bertone is a leading Canadian family-owned real estate development company based in Montreal, Quebec. With over 20 years of experience, the company has established a strong reputation for its innovative approach to construction and commitment to excellence.

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our residential wood structure projects in CANDIAC. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent on similar projects and possess expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards, and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Project Oversight: Manage the project under the supervision of the Project Manager and ensure that work is carried out efficiently, productively, and safely.
  2. Site Coordination: Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with customer plans and specifications.
  3. Supplier Management: Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements.
  4. Reporting and Documentation: Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site, and plan construction schedules.
  5. Progress Updates: Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule.
  6. Quality Control: Eliminate all deficiencies to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project.
  7. Resource Management: Manage material, equipment, labor, and subcontracting requirements.

The successful candidate will possess a technical diploma in architecture or a building-related field combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects or a professional diploma in a construction trade combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on residential wood-frame projects.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma in architecture or a building-related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects or 10 years of experience on residential wood-frame projects
  • Basic computer skills (common tools and software)
  • Autonomous and proactive
  • Valid driver's license

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
