Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Penfolds Roofing Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, coordinating seminars and conferences, and managing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Coordinate the flow of information within the team
- Direct and control daily operations, including managing staff and overseeing the preparation of reports
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Answer electronic enquiries and respond to employee questions and complaints
- Compile data, statistics, and other information
- Perform data entry and maintain digital databases
- Maintain and manage inventory, including ordering office supplies
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and post-secondary education an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
