We're seeking a skilled Data Control Administrator to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a key member of our data management team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.

About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry, maintenance, and reporting within various databases and applications, including SAP. You'll work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate information exchange and adherence to data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data creation, maintenance, and reporting, including data entry, upload, and changes into SAP.
  • Promoting data governance by ensuring the accuracy and quality of material master data through regular checks and balances.
  • Detecting omitted, duplicated, or incorrect data prior to input and taking necessary actions to correct it according to established processes and procedures.
  • Investigating daily data integrity issues using available tools and reports and making corrections following established data standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensuring data integrity and quality by developing working relationships with key stakeholders and providing education on data standards and established processes and procedures.
  • Supporting project work by entering and changing required data associated with those projects.
  • Participating in monitoring key performance indicators for the group by logging errors, lead time issues, and first-pass quality issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education (Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred).
  • Minimum three years of business experience.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Process-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong focus on accuracy.
  • Understanding of RDBMS and experience with SQL an asset.
  • Proficient with office computer technology, including Lotus Notes databases, Microsoft Office products (strong in Excel), and SAP, particularly data structures such as Customer, Vendor, Material, and Pricing Masters.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive base salary ($85,000 - $110,000 per annum) commensurate with experience.
