Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Field Service Expert to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch field service support that exceeds our customers' expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Travel extensively across Canada, visiting hospitals and healthcare facilities to provide technical field service support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer and product issues, focusing on Communication and Instruments portfolio.
  • Build strong relationships with Stryker customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Document service results to maintain accurate quality records.
Responsibilities:

As a Medical Field Service Expert, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation. You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing effective, proficient, and timely service and repairs to all customers in direct support of the sales team.
  • Adhering to account protocols and maintaining equipment at account locations.
  • Promoting Stryker's business by recognizing opportunities to fulfill additional customer needs and communicating with the appropriate Stryker personnel.
  • Providing post-sale in-servicing on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Performing warranty, upgrades, field actions, preventative maintenance, installations, deliveries, billable or any other related services required by a client.
  • Following all administrative duties, completing necessary paperwork, and tracking product support solutions.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of Stryker equipment, service parts, tools, and conducting regular cycle counts and verifying tool calibration.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to work flexible hours and independently.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple functions and adhere to daily/weekly deadlines.
  • Knowledge of proper lifting/body mechanic techniques.
  • Basic or intermediate computer networking skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is an asset.
  • An outstanding driving record.
Education & Qualifications

You must have:

  • A Post-Secondary Diploma; University Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (French and English) required.
  • X-ray, MRI or medical imaging is preferred.
  • Related technical experience in the healthcare field (2+ years preferred).
  • Technical School classes in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in a healthcare environment and travel to the USA required.
