About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Power Processing team in Canada. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing high-performance cloud-based applications that improve productivity and outcomes across the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications using cloud design patterns and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to transform high-level requirements into actionable product enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and peers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support production services and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
  • Write and maintain high-quality code, perform peer code reviews, and drive technical design discussions to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with front-end development languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience building web applications using modern JavaScript libraries like ReactJS, including end-to-end testing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of how to build reusable, composable, and extensible software.
  • Experience with cloud service providers, particularly AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing large-scale software systems.
  • Experience in distributed cloud and high concurrency design.
  • Experience working with linting and formatting tools like TypeScript, ESLint, and Prettier.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry or other areas of AEC, with a strong user-centered approach to work.

Compensation Package

As a highly competitive company, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $98,600 - $144,650 per year, based on experience and location. This includes annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
