Job Title: Exterior Surface Finisher

 

At Double G Constructions Corp., we are seeking a skilled Exterior Surface Finisher to join our team. As an Exterior Surface Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing and applying various finishes to exterior surfaces, including painting, wallpapering, and other decorative treatments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces to be painted, including sanding and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to exterior surfaces.
  • Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required.
  • Apply powdered coatings and other specialized finishes.

 

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in surface finishing.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with airless spray equipment and other specialized tools.
  • Knowledge of powder coating and other specialized finishes.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various locations.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor work environment.
  • Variable locations.
