Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk Services team in Toronto. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assessing information technology and business process risk, providing IT internal audit support, and developing risk and control matrices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct IT risk reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide IT internal audit support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement risk and control matrices to ensure effective risk management.
  • Monitor relevant technology risk standards and practices to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business process risks.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
  • 2-5 years of experience in assessing information technology or business process risk.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls and controls-based audits.
  • Experience with implementing and evaluating data governance structures, system asset tooling, and IT projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
