We are seeking an experienced Executive Food Service Manager to join our team at Hashtag India Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service establishment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing staff and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high-quality food and services that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff as needed.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and services meet quality control standards, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Environment: Establish work schedules, supervise and check assembly of trays, and ensure that work is completed at our physical location with no option to work remotely.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate is an asset.
What We Offer
