KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in investigating and mitigating cyber threats.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in computer forensics and incident response. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in this field and be certified in relevant areas such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various security tools, including log management, web proxies, and endpoint protection platforms. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a Cybersecurity Expert, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data to support investigative efforts, leading computer and network forensic investigations, and developing incident investigation and digital forensic reports. You will also contribute to the continued development of our Cyber Response team and participate in thought leadership and business development campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in incident response or CSIRT
  • Hands-on experience with various security tools
  • Certified in relevant areas such as GCIH or EnCE
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
