Senior Network Architect

High Tech Genesis is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our lab environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network: Configure and manage network infrastructure within the lab environment, ensuring robust connectivity and optimal performance across all lab systems.
• Infrastructure Administration: Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments, performing regular maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and security of virtualized environments.
• Lab Operations: Maintain and update lab documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and operational procedures, ensuring lab environments are secure, organized, and compliant with company policies.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to lab users, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve lab capabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lab engineering or similar role.
• Strong expertise in networking, VMware vSphere administration, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with lights-out management tools for remote infrastructure management and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, SAN, and ISCSI Storage.
• In-lab experience with racking, cabling, configuring hardware.
