Support Specialist for Inclusive Workplace Initiatives

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Specialist to join our team at WH3 Solutions Inc.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, CEO office operations, and experience working with diverse populations, including persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities
The Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs;
- Coordinating work among regions, divisions, or departments;
- Representing the organization in negotiations or other official functions;
- Selecting middle managers, directors, or executive staff and delegating necessary authority;
- SUPPORTING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES: Providing physical, visual, auditory accessibility accommodations, participating in government or community programs, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, providing awareness training, applying accessible recruitment policies.
- SUPPORTING NEWCOMERS AND REFUGEES: Participating in government or community programs, assisting with immediate settlement needs, supporting social and labour market integration, recruiting displaced workers, supporting foreign credential recognition, offering mentorship programs, providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
- SUPPORTING YOUTH: Participating in government or community programs, offering on-the-job training, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, providing awareness training.
- SUPPORTING VETERANS: Participating in government or community programs, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, providing awareness training, recruiting Veterans, assisting with transition needs, offering workshops and counseling services.
- SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE: Participating in government or community programs, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, developing relationships with indigenous communities, providing cultural competency training.
- SUPPORTING MATURE WORKERS: Participating in government or community programs, applying hiring policies, providing awareness training, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, offering phased retirement options, providing workspace accommodations.
- SUPPORTING VISIBLE MINORITIES: Participating in government or community programs, applying hiring policies, offering mentorship programs, providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in administrative support, CEO office operations, or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
