Truck Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Truck Fit and Finish Technician to join our team at Bayview Trucks - Dartmouth. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring our new truck inventory is dressed to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dress up new truck inventory with accessories such as lights, fenders, PTO, chrome visors, and bunk skirts.
- Work with minimal supervision to meet set SRT times.
- Perform preventive maintenance services, diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
- Complete technical reports from different manufacturers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Available to work covering after-hours service calls for emergencies.
Requirements:
- Completion of a College certification for Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment Service Technician - Minimum Block 3 completion.
- Ability to lift and move a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Willing and able to continue training.
- Clean Driver's abstract and Criminal Reference check.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to work in Windows-based software.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Service environment.
