About the Role

At Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As an IT Contract Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a structured and efficient process for managing IT contracts.

Job Description
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
  • We are looking for someone with experience in establishing clear stages for the contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination. You will implement tracking mechanisms to monitor key milestones, such as renewal dates, deliverables, and payment schedules.

  • Risk and Issue Management
  • The ideal candidate will create and implement processes for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to IT contracts. You will develop issue resolution procedures for addressing contract disputes, non-compliance, or underperformance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized processes and workflows for reviewing, managing, and governing IT contracts.

  • Create and maintain contract templates, guidelines, and best practices for different vendor categories, including consulting firms, software licenses, and hardware suppliers.

  • Define clear roles and responsibilities within the contract lifecycle and ensure alignment with internal teams (Legal, IT, Finance).

  • Establish clear stages for the contract lifecycle and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor key milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field. A law degree (JD) or certifications in contract management (e.g., NCMA or IACCM) is a plus.

  • 7+ years of experience in contract management in IT.

  • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IT contracts (consulting, software, hardware, etc.).
