At the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making across our institution. This position involves analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data related to student enrollment, retention, academic performance, institutional effectiveness, and other areas.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including Admissions, Finance, Academics, and Student Services, to provide actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and student outcomes. Key responsibilities will include gathering, cleaning, and processing data from multiple institutional systems, analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and providing quantitative data analysis for use in data-based decision making.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide quantitative data analysis to support data-based decision making
- Collaborate with departments to develop and implement strategies for data collection and analysis
- Communicate results of analysis effectively to drive fact-based decision making
Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or business administration. Three to six years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a post-secondary or educational institution, is also required. Proficiency in MS SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Python, and Tableau is an asset, as is knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations.
