Administrative Support Specialist

The Richmond Academy of Dance Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our human resources department, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Coordinate the flow of information within the team
- Direct and control daily operations
- Evaluate daily operations
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
- Answer electronic enquiries
- Oversee development of communication strategies
- Compile data, statistics, and other information
- Advise senior management
- Respond to employee questions and complaints
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Oversee payroll administration
- Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
- Conduct research
- Perform data entry
- Provide customer service
- Maintain and manage digital database
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
- Perform administrative tasks
- Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies
- Prepare dance students for auditions and performances
- Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting
- Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities
- Discuss results and students' progress with them, their parents, and school officials
- Develop a checklist to assist schools in their preparation for a monitoring inspection
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a human resources role
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and database software
