Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

City Furniture & Appliances is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is always available for customers.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, and co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units.
  • Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Client-focused and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
