Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate precision measuring equipment and document findings
  • Use manual and semi-automatic production/manufacturing equipment
  • Provide clear communication, both verbal and written
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe and responsible manner
  • Participate in near miss/ incident reporting
  • Adhere to all HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, comprehend written instructions and technical documentation
  • Physically fit and able to safely lift and move items (using appropriate aids if required)
  • Mechanical aptitude and awareness - hand tools, basic hydraulics, safe operation of machines
  • Strong sense of initiative and creative thinking to ensure quality products are manufactured
  • Work well in a team environment – promoting an environment of collaboration and support

HSE:

  • Able to work in a shop environment (noise, fumes, standing) and lifting unassisted 35 lb.

This position is classified as safety sensitive and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
