Healthcare Support Specialist

The Unit Aide plays a vital role in supporting the unit staff and department activities, contributing to efficient and effective operations.
About YouWe're looking for a skilled and dedicated individual with the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 completion required
- Medical Terminology course completion preferred
- Current WHMIS certification required
- Recent NVCI training / certification considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Proficiency in current Meditech applications (Admissions/OE/EMR) preferred
- Ability to work in a busy area and adapt to frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain a polite, courteous, and pleasant attitude towards patients, staff, and co-workers
- Physical ability to lift and transfer heavy loads required
- Ability to function well as a team member required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Long Assignment, Full-Time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Approximately One Year Term
$22.28 Hourly
