About the Opportunity

The Unit Aide plays a vital role in supporting the unit staff and department activities, contributing to efficient and effective operations.

About You

We're looking for a skilled and dedicated individual with the following qualifications:

  • Grade 12 completion required
  • Medical Terminology course completion preferred
  • Current WHMIS certification required
  • Recent NVCI training / certification considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Proficiency in current Meditech applications (Admissions/OE/EMR) preferred
  • Ability to work in a busy area and adapt to frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain a polite, courteous, and pleasant attitude towards patients, staff, and co-workers
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer heavy loads required
  • Ability to function well as a team member required
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours
  • Long Assignment, Full-Time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately One Year Term
Compensation and Benefits

$22.28 Hourly
