As a Lead Polymer Synthesis Researcher at the University of Toronto's Acceleration Consortium, you will be part of a transformative shift in scientific discovery. Our mission is to accelerate technology development and commercialization by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, materials sciences, and high-throughput chemistry.
The Acceleration Consortium is a global community that brings together academia, industry, and government to create self-driving laboratories (SDLs) and materials acceleration platforms (MAPs). These autonomous labs rapidly design materials and molecules needed for a sustainable, healthy, and resilient future.
As a key member of our team, you will advance the field of AI-driven autonomous discovery and develop the materials and molecules required to address society's largest challenges, such as climate change, water pollution, and future pandemics.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement advanced polymer synthesis methods using AI-driven approaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build SDLs and MAPs
- Leverage expertise in automation, machine learning, and high-performance computing to optimize materials discovery
