Timber Millhand

Pacific Coast Cedar Products Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Timber Millhand to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our sawmill.

In this role, you will be working closely with our production team to feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines. You will also be loading chips, sulphur, and processing materials, as well as sorting, piling, and transporting wood products.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of our machines and immediate work areas. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have no formal education or certification. However, we are happy to provide training to help you develop the necessary skills.

You will also be required to sort, pile, and transport wood products, remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing, and clean machines and immediate work areas.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will be required to work 40 hours per week.
