Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Employees in this position are eligible for shift differentials.

Job Description

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Mental Health Professional - Patient Care Specialist provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu. This role involves establishing therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries, and identifying patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations. The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and participate in planning and implementation of patient groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
