Job Description:
This role plays a key part in driving growth by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in aftermarket products and services sold by Finning to assigned customers in your territory. As an Equipment Sales and Service Consultant, you will utilize a consultative selling approach to build profitable, long-term customer relationships by offering products and services that enhance fleet management, maximize productivity, and reduce downtime and cost per hour.
You will achieve profitable parts and service revenue in line with corporate and territory targets by evaluating customer needs, promoting and selling products and services to meet those needs, and providing quality solutions.
You will develop and maintain client information and data using Finning (Canada)'s CRM software and Product Improvement Program (PIP) to enable accurate market intelligence, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction.
You will prepare accurate and timely forecasts, pricing, estimates, and market intelligence for parts and service revenue targets for the assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
You will establish appropriate targets, goals, and objectives aligned with corporate strategy and ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of consulting sales experience, with a solid understanding of basic selling principles such as prospecting, introducing benefits, call planning, qualifying, handling objections, follow-ups, and closing the sale.
- Experience working with customers on maintenance strategies and equipment systems is an asset.
- Proven mechanical knowledge.
- Previous experience in product sales and service is an asset.
- Experience using a customer relationship management tool.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses and career advancement.
