About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at BS-1 MASONRY LTD. as a Concrete Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of concrete construction and finishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Health and Safety: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and handle heavy loads, while maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete construction and finishing.
  • Skills: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, attention to detail, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
