Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team at Maya Hair Salon.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair. They will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, as well as provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Supervise apprentices/students in training
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Maintain and order supplies
Requirements
  • Hairstylist Licence
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional service to our clients.
