About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team at EECOL Electric. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive 18-month trainee program, focusing on the gradual learning of basic warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and housekeeping of assigned areas.
  • Shadow experienced Warehouse Operations associates to gain hands-on experience in verifying supplier inbound, customer returns, branch returns, and entering order receipts into computer and RF systems.
  • Under the guidance of more experienced team members, place received material into proper warehouse storage locations, segregating backorders as needed.
  • Assist in packing, labeling, wrapping, and loading inbound/outbound trucks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Develop skills in using manual or RF processes to pick, pack, weigh, and ship product, as well as maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Collaborate with the team to verify return policy guidelines are followed prior to issuing credit for returned material.
  • Pull stock and return to location pending credit memo, sale, or return to supplier.
  • Assist with customer service activities, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Working Environment

The Warehouse Operations Associate will work in a warehouse environment, with moderate noise levels and well-ventilated conditions. The role may require working in various weather conditions and wearing protective clothing as needed.

Physical Expectations

  • Work is physically strenuous, requiring the ability to lift heavy packages and walk long distances.
  • Excessive bending or stooping may be required, as well as the use of hand tools.
