Senior Inventory Management Specialist

About the Role:
Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a highly skilled Senior Inventory Management Specialist, reporting to the Materials Management and Transportation Manager, working out of the Winnipeg office.
This position will play a crucial role in facilitating the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes. The successful candidate will act as a liaison to different departments and programs to support all hand tool requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests.
- Coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
- Participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective products.
- Gather manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.
- Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control.
- 2+ years' experience in Data Analytics.
- 3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP system or an equivalent such as SAP.
- Familiarity with portable hand tool basic operation and mechanism.
- Licensed to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Business Management.
- 2+ years of experience with Crib Master.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
