Mosaic Artisan

We are seeking a skilled Mosaic Artisan to join our team at Canada Inc Corp.

• This is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week.

• Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles, ensuring accurate calculations and precise execution.
• Mix and apply adhesives using hand trowels, guaranteeing a strong bond between tiles and base materials.
• Create detailed plans and sketches for tile arrangements, taking into account aesthetics and functionality.
• Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs, showcasing exceptional artistry and attention to detail.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, demonstrating precision and efficiency.
• Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate budgeting and efficient resource allocation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and color recognition skills.
• Able to lift and move heavy objects with ease.

• Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location.
