Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at 1443312 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the front desk area.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Front Desk Operations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize word processing software and internet for tasks such as room assignments and guest communication.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
