**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Biorepository Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely handling cryogenic materials, operating and maintaining cryogenic equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality control measures.
**Responsibilities:
- Safely handle cryogenic materials, including biological samples, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain cryogenic equipment, conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
- Prepare cryogenic equipment for outbound shipments, including packaging and labeling according to shipping regulations and requirements.
- Manage inventory of cryogenic supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and conducting regular audits.
- C coordinate and arrange the logistics of cold chain shipments, collaborating with various carriers and ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Perform outbound quality control checks on cryogenic samples prior to shipment to ensure sample integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Receive and inspect inbound cryogenic shipments, conducting quality control checks and documenting any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on cryogenic equipment as needed, following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
- Follow quality control measures and documentation procedures to ensure adherence to standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members, carriers, and stakeholders regarding shipping logistics and sample management.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to cryogenic operations, equipment maintenance, and sample shipments.
**Requirements:*
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience or knowledge of cryogenic materials, equipment, and storage systems.
- Familiarity with cryogenic operations, safety guidelines, and quality control principles.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use relevant software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow established protocols and guidelines with precision.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
