RhynoCare is a reputable nursing home dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as soon as possible. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.
Job Description:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
- Audit admission processes to ensure timely and accessible resident orientation.
- Coordinate safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage medication control and protocols on assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Cultivate effective relationships with colleagues and residents.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect resident autonomy and privacy.
- Familiarity with Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food and Drugs Act, Narcotic Control Act, Coroners Act, British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives Standards of Practice, and relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Medical clearance, including but not limited to TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of vaccination and adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
