About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Andrew Mark Katz. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Personal Hygiene and Grooming: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Encourage and assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical mobility and health.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation, to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Shopping and Errands: Assist clients with shopping for food and household supplies, as well as running errands and completing tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Personal Care Assistant with Andrew Mark Katz, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as repetitive tasks.
