Job Description

Barrhaven Ford Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to oversee the sales and inventory operations of our retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sales staff, optimizing inventory levels, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and supervise their activities to ensure efficient sales processes.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to maintain high-quality customer service standards.
  • Order merchandise in accordance with sales forecasts and market trends.
  • Establish work schedules that balance employee needs with business requirements.
  • Sell merchandise through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High school diploma required, College certificate an asset.

  • $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
