About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Brunes Investments Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock and inventory
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and repairs, and prepare reports as required
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
    • Physically demanding, with attention to detail required
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication
    • Flexibility, team player, and initiative
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
