About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of clinical pharmacology experts and drive innovative drug development strategies at AbbVie. As Director of Clinical Pharmacology Leadership, you will be responsible for conceiving, executing, and effectively managing clinical pharmacology development plans and strategies that achieve commercial goals and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct critical evaluations of technical and scientific aspects of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics management.
  • Design and lead Phase 1-4 studies, and develop clinical pharmacology strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Author regulatory documents, including protocols, study reports, population PK reports, exposure-response analyses reports, CTDs, label sections, and investigator brochures.
  • Lead clinical pharmacology and biopharmaceutics meetings, and represent the clinical pharmacology department at various teams and conferences.

Requirements

  • PhD with typically 4+ years of experience or Pharm D with typically 6+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with functional representatives and KOLs externally and internally, and strategic thinking.
  • Persistent and resilient leader who can find solutions to complex problems and drive innovation.
