Continuing Education Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Continuing Studies Instructor to join our team at Okanagan College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and educational services to participants in our Building Service Worker Certificate program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide teaching and educational services to participants, including advice and instructional assistance related to course content.
- Ensure participants understand and comply with college rules and policies.
- Monitor and evaluate participant progress in the course.
- Prepare and maintain course materials, course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional aids.
- Communicate with the Program Administrator/Coordinator on any issues related to student participation or course delivery.
- An undergraduate degree and post-secondary teaching experience are preferred.
- Applicants with an equivalent combination of teaching and work experience in their area of expertise may be considered.
- An Instructor's Diploma or valid BC Teacher's Certificate is preferred.
- Successful completion of a relevant Certificate program or higher.
- Current experience working within the field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience teaching adults in a classroom setting is preferred.
