AFL is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Telecommunications Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will be responsible for managing workforce schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch field technicians upon customer request, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor daily workload and adjust resource plans as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage email requests from customers and field teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Generate reports for customers, internal use, and billing purposes, highlighting key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the team to build and maintain positive relationships, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Protect AFL's values by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to environmental, health, and safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service or a high-volume call center environment.
- Previous experience in dispatch or a similar role is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Working Conditions
- Remote work environment, with the possibility of transitioning to a normal office environment as business needs dictate.
- 40 hours/week, with a general schedule of 10 hours/4 days a week from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to accommodate weekend and holiday work as needed.
- Eligible for overtime, if applicable.
- Permanent position.
