Compensation

We offer a competitive salary to ensure our staff are fairly compensated for their expertise and hard work. The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role requires an experienced professional capable of managing assurance and non-assurance client engagements. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff while driving business growth through expert assurance, business advisory, and tax services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out higher-level field work on larger engagements and develop your managerial skills by managing engagement deliverables and staff on smaller engagements.
  • Apply technical expertise and research in formulating client-related recommendations in accordance with professional standards and Firm policies.
  • Work collaboratively with Managers to oversee multiple engagements concurrently using sound project management principles.
  • Conduct pre-engagement planning with the engagement team and scope, plan, and manage assignments for maximum profitability while maintaining Firm standards.
  • Complete the detailed review of assurance and non-assurance engagements to ensure they align with professional and Firm standards.
  • Participate in committees to develop and implement Firm management policies and professional standards.
  • Conduct internal and/or external presentations and training related to area of expertise.
  • Provide input on performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • Advanced accounting, auditing, and tax skills.
  • Experience with CaseWare, Caseview, and TaxPrep considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
