Professional Furniture Handler

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Professional Furniture Handler to join our team at Solomon Budala Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, warehouses, and other locations
  • Handling heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) safely and efficiently
  • Assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Packing and unpacking goods carefully to prevent damage
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; we provide on-the-job training
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and high levels of attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Conditions:

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent work term. You can expect to work 30-40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Language and Work Environment:

The primary language of work is English. You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in this language.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
