About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Blue Shark Transport. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, meetings, and events, and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between our team and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Office Management: Oversee the maintenance of our office supplies, equipment, and facilities, and ensure that our workspace is organized and efficient.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and able to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
